What's Mock Trial?

Nationwide, hundreds of universities field mock trial teams every year to compete in a crazy courtroom drama. Mockers learn to portray attorneys and witnesses, traveling around the country to compete in tournaments, break out silly accents on the witness stand, and object to everything in sight. Mocking is about acting, speaking, and thinking on your feet. Teams work together to prepare statements, conduct examinations, and compete in civil or criminal cases each year.

Most importantly, mock trial is about doing something different and having a ton of fun. Whether you've mocked in high school or have never even heard of it, anyone can get involved.
